About Ed O'Meara

Ed retired in 2024 from a large municipal police service in Ontario. He joined the police service in 1991 in the communications centre where he trained as a 911 call taker and police dispatcher. He served in that position for 7 years until he took a call that knocked him out of the game for a long time. He is now completing his M.A. in counselling and spiritual care from McMaster University. He knows what it's like to be in the hot seat and now offers his experience, training and empathy to help those who are still answering the call. Whether it's public speaking or one on one therapy as an intern under the supervision of Dr. Edward Murray, Ed wants to help his brothers and sisters on their journey. In this family nobody fights alone!
